Description: Provide children's
mental health services to children from ages 2-18 years of age.
Services
Offered: Emergency mental health
assessment and intervention (within 24 hours).
Rapid response mental health interventions within 5 days of first
contact Regular mental health services to children and families. Consultation -
schools, physicians, community groups. Teaching - community education.
Procedure: Client, parent, or doctor contacts
central referral (464-4110) by telephone and the request for service is
screened; if accepted the referral is assigned to the Dartmouth clinic and an
initial appointment is made with a therapist.
