Registration information for Citadel High School

Updated June 29, 2007

The Citadel high Guidance Office will open on August 28th 2007. School opens for staff on Tuesday September 4th. The first day of classes for students is Friday, Sept. 7th as we require two days for the unpacking process.

Open late registration is on Wednesday, August 29th 2007.  There is an additional late registration day for students coming from Nova Scotia Public schools only on Tuesday, August 28th 2007.

In order to register for Citadel High School, students must live with a parent or legal guardian in the Citadel High area. To determine this or to access any other registration information, please visit www.hrsb.ns.ca and select ‘student registration’ from the drop-down menus.

On registration day, A parent or legal guardian must be present for the registration process and must bring the following documentation:

·     A transcript showing marks for all completed courses from the previous school (in English).

·     Proof of residency such as a current utility bill, driver's license, lease agreement, etc.

·     Birth certificate

·     Nova Scotia health card

·     Guardianship information and/or proof of citizenship if required

You will not be permitted to make an appointment with a guidance counsellor for course selection unless all documentation is in-hand and acceptable. If all documentation is in place and registration numbers are large, you may be given an appointment time that will necessitate you leaving and coming back at a later time.
