CLIFFORD CAPERS

~ My Big Pet Show ~

Hey kids, parents and teachers,

I am looking for some computer savy kids to showcase their technology talents in my "Big Pet Show".   All that is needed is a graphics program like Kid Pix or MS Paint.

Check out the project sample and instructions below.  Then be sure to sign into my project.

Friends forever,
Clifford

"BIG PET" SAMPLE

Hi, my name is Hayley, and this is my big pet Cherryblossom.  Cherryblossom is 7 years old.  She likes to eat carrots and pizza.  I like to play ball with her and to hop with her on her back.  When I stand on the tip of her nose, I can jump on the rainbow for a really fun slide down.  I love Cherryblossom!.

    3. Use this project as a technology challenge for students in your classroom to try and home with their families (they can e-mail  me the story and graphics, or you can post it on your technology challenge page and e-mail me the link)

PROJECT DEADLINE

This project is a "Grassroots Nova Scotia" project and will be officially submitted to the 'Grassroots Nova Scotia" site on May 15th, 2002.  I hope to have many of your entries in the gallery by then; however, I will continue to receive "big pets" and their stories for as long as it is possible and the gallery has reached capacity.  At that point, the sign-in form will be deleted from the site.

Submit your entry below.  I hope you have as much fun with this project as my daughter Hayley and I did.

Yours in teaching,
