Read! Read! Read! The most important thing that you can do to encourage a child to learn is to read to/or with him/her every day. (HRSB will present a new Board Homework Policy soon,) The students have folders that are colour-coded and divided into days of the week. For example, on Mondays the students with blue folders may bring something to show to the class. (Toys are not permitted for Show and Tell). They will bring in their reading bag and exchange it for new books on their day.
