   The Charles P. Allen High School Concert Band consists of students in Grades 10. The concert band is a required component of the music 10 courseand all students in the concert band are in the music 10 course.

The concert band usually features between 45 and 60 performers. The group is dedicated and driven to perform music at the highest possible standard , and explore repertoire of the highest quality.

The 2008-2009 concert band season was dedicated to Canadian Repertoire, with the ensemble performing works by Derek Charke, Ronald MacKay, Andre Jutras and Sid Rovinivich.

In March the concert band will perform in a special concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of the composition of Holst's 1st Suite in Eb. This British Band Classic Concert  will feature the concert band performing Vaughan William's Folk Song Suite.
