Welcome to Grade 5-6! This should be a very exciting year and I am looking forward to experiencing it with the class of 5-6B.
March 28
- I would just like to take a moment to thank all of my students for the empathy and support they have shown over the last few weeks. You all are amazing! Thank you for the beautiful cards, they brightened up my days!
- I will be busy this weekend updating my web-page. I apologize for the delay.
- Three book orders have gone home. These are due back tomorrow.
- The Vessey Seed Fundraiser is due back tomorrow.
- Please support us during our Hop for Muscular Dystrophy. A pledge sheet has been sent home.
- Finally, please remember that there is no school on Friday, it is an assessment and evaluation day.
January 25
- Please return the skating permission slip as soon as possible. Thank you!
- Book orders are due back on January 27th. There are some wonderful deals available in this month's order.
- Please remember to send helmets and skates with students on Monday. Students need to be dressed for the weather (layers are recommended).
Nov. 18
- Pat's Preserves and Christmas Wreath orders are now overdue. Please return ASAP
- Students have brought home an interview to complete for Social Studies. Please be sure to have them return this on Tuesday.
- There is a PD day on Monday, there will be no class for students
Nov. 2
- Book orders are due On Friday
- Students have a second opportunity to purchase books at the book fair tomorrow
- Reminder: It is expected that all volunteers have a criminal records check and child abuse check completed before volunteering either in the school or on field trips. Please have these completed and on file with the school if you intend to volunteer this year. Thank you!
- Parent-teacher interviews will take place November 9th. Please call the office to schedule an appointment
Sept. 26
- Registration and Early Closure forms were sent home a week ago. Please complete and return these forms in order for the school to update your information.
- I have sent home 3 more book orders. These will be due back on October 7th.
- Reminder that we are having our curriculum night on Wednesday night (6:30 start). I look forward to seeing you there!
Sept. 12
- Thank you to all parents/guardians who have been sending the notice folder back daily. This is the best way for me to continue sending home forms and notices without them getting lost in the shuffle. There will be many more important notices coming home throughout the year. Keep an eye open for them!
- Please sign and return the Highlights form that was sent home. We are able to get free learning resources for the classroom with the returned/signed forms (even if you are not ordering the magazine) I will be placing my order this weekend. Thank you to those parents/guardians who have already returned the form.
- If you have not already done so, could you please return the Student Information Sheet and One Million Words as soon as possible.
- Today I sent home the first book orders of the year. These will be due back Sept. 23rd
- Students are asked to bring in donations for the Terry Fox Run. We will be taking part in this run on September 30th.
