      $ 28 565.31   Chequing account

                 $ 360.37   Shares account

                    $ 20.31  Savings account

5. BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

       Referee Payments: Darrell Dempster is going to meet with head officials for the    different organizations in the upcoming week to discuss contracts for next year.     We have to remember to tell coaches to make sure they are getting receipts signed at each game when payment is made. Keep copies for all games.

6. REGIONAL DIRECTOR’S REPORT:

       Trevor Doyle discussed the proposal for girls’ hockey which would make two        divisions, top 8 teams and bottom 4 teams. It looks like Metro will be staying with just one division. Trevor talked about the possibility of divisions across the            province being reduced from four to three. Eastern Shore is hosting boys’ softball        provincials; track and field is being hosted in metro this year as well. The three       point line in basketball is different in some gyms; the refs are going to use whatever line is in each gym. No mandate to make all gyms the same.

7. NEW BUSINESS:

       Golf charity tournament for Nancy Tokaryk on June 21st at Lost Creek,      registration     forms were handed out by Sue Beazley. Reminder of the        scholarship deadline.

        NSSAF dinner is Friday May 10th.
