The meeting opened at 1:20 p.m. and was chaired by Trevor Doyle.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – April 28th, 2008.

3. YEAR-END FINANCIAL REPORT
a. The treasurer, Donna Duggan, submitted the 2007-2008 Year-End Financial Information.
b. Some schools still owe fees for badminton and track.
Bills will be sent.

6. REGIONAL DIRECTOR’S FINAL REPORT:
Darrell Dempster submitted a written report via e-mail.
A list of Provincial Sports to be held in Metro was read and will be e-mailed to all schools.
The Coaching Education Initiative was briefly review.

there was no Metro league.

A year-end final report was submitted via e-mail.
8. COMPLETION OF CO-ORDINATORS 2008-2009
New Coordinators List: This list is partially complete and will be sent to schools via e-mail. If you know someone who wants to coordinate, please send their contact information as soon as possible or bring it with you in September.
We are in need of Coordinators for the following sports:
Boys Soccer (Filled)
Cheerleading
Girls Fast Pitch
Girls Rugby
Skiing
Snowboarding
9. NEW BUSINESS
a) Responsibilities of the Spectator: Mary Coughran
Discussion occurred about having a welcoming plaque or banner at the entrance of the gym that highlights the rules and responsibilities of spectators and all others who enter your gym.
Discussion followed. This item will be taken to NSSAF to see if it is something Metro should pursue.
A committee was formed to look at the issues and responsibilities of spectators. They will look at what we do now and what we need to do.
The committee includes Tim McGarrigle, Trevor Doyle and Mary Coughran.
