Homework will be done Monday-Thursday and will focus on Language Arts and Math.  

Language Arts---- Our Read-at-home program is now underway.  The students in 5-Foggoa are expected to read for 20 minutes for five days of the week.  They are to record the book and the pages read daily on their calendar. 

Math-  Math sheet will go home once a week.  Each assignment will be on the Math concept we are covering at that time in class.  These activities are meant to reinforce classroom learning. 

It is also extremely important that the children continue to practice their multiplication facts.  10 minutes of practice a day would be great!  Quick recall these facts is expected in Grade 5.

I would like it if you could check and sign your child's agenda each evening.  It is an excellent opportunity for us to communicate about your child's progress.  

At times, "finish-up" activities may be sent home with your child.  These activities are to be completed by the following day.
