CHARLOTTE
Charlotte is a spider. She is a black spider. She is a female spider. She has eight hairy legs. Charlotte is beautiful. Wilbur says that she is so black. She lives in a barn. She has many helpful words in her web for Wilbur. She is clever because she weaves words in her web. She is caring for Wilbur. She is blood thirsty and we see this when she sucks blood out of flies. Charlotte shows that she is friendly by talking to Fern and Wilbur. She is also serious about not wanting Wilbur to die. Charlotte was naturally patient because she was always waiting for Templeton to bring the words before she wrote them.
