Heading to High School

So you are getting ready to head to Sackville High!  Don't worry, we'll help you get there.  Check out the stuff planned to help you along the way...

  • Visit from Sackville High School (SHS) Guidance Counsellors (January) - they will explain the course selection process and answer any questions for you.

  • Ms. MacDonald will visit your class in the following weeks to answer questions.  She will also meet with individual students to help them pick courses.

  • Visit from SHS student's council - cool presentations in the cafeteria about school spirit, dances, sports, etc...you don't want to miss this!

  • Orientation Day - spend some time at  SHS!  Three things will happen for sure:  you will get lost (everyone does!), you will meet new people, and you will love the pep rally!

  • Parent Meeting - held at night to answer questions from parents and to register students.

  • Orientation Dance - a favorite every year!

  • Special arrangements for students with special needs and their parents
