The library is a quiet place.  It is the place you can come to read a great book, catch up on some homework or look something up on the computers – all within the quiet walls of the school.

When the first lunch bell rings, the door is open for 5 minutes.  After that time, the door is closed and there will be no coming and going from the library.  When the second lunch bells rings, the door will open again for 5 minutes at which time students inside may leave to go outside, the cafeteria, the gym etc.  Once the second round of students are in, it will close again and there will be no coming and going.

No food or drink (other than covered water bottles) is allowed in the library.

No cell phones or gaming systems allowed. 

Before you leave the library, please be kind enough to push your chair in.

If you have any scraps or leftovers from projects, please place your materials in the proper bins. There are both a garbage can and a paper recycling bin in the library.

You can check out 4 books at a time for 2 weeks.  If you need them longer, let me know and I will renew them for another two weeks.

Please take proper care of your library materials.  Remember, all these books are for you – not me. Ultimately, they are in your capable hands.
