Assessment Information:

In our classes we have two types of assessment: Summative and Formative. Summative are assessments of your learning and will be given a grade. Summative assessments are eligible for a Learning Contract and administrative referral. Formative assessments will not be assigned a grade. They are important in determining what you know and how I need to teach you to make sure you know something. Formative assessments need to be completed and are not optional, but will not always be renegotiated through Learning Contract or referred to administration.
