Welcome to SCIENCE 10!!!
This course is designed to teach you the skills necessary to study science at a higher level, as well as to help you develop into a scientifically literate citizen and consumer. The course is divided into 4 units: Sustainability of Ecosystems (Biology), Chemical Reactions (Chemistry), Motion (Physics), and Weather Dynamics. Biology & Chemistry will be covered in the first half of the semester and Physics & Weather will be in the second half; you will receive a final mark at the end of each half semester.

Department Policies:
In the case of a missed test, students must provide a signed note from their parents with an appropriate excuse. The student will be expected to write a make-up test, during class time, immediately upon their return.
According to school requirements for exam exemptions, all major assessments must be completed. Therefore, any student missing a test, lab, or project, will not qualify for an exemption.
Assignments are expected to be submitted on time. Late assignments will not be accepted after the marked assignments have been returned. Under some circumstances, the student may be required to complete late assignments in front of their teacher or complete an alternate assignment.
