Dance, Gym and Games Club (DGG Club) is an opportunity for students in Grades Primary, One and Two to have some extra time in the gym each week.  I  give permission for my child (Child’s name) ________________________ to participate in the Colby Elementary Dance, Gym and Games Club on the dates and times indicated. Students will eat their lunch in their EXCEL classroom and meet in the gym at 11:55 am, OR students can go home for lunch and return for the 11:55 start time.

As a member of the DGG Club, I promise to attend sessions regularly, participate in activities, and be a POSITIVE teammate who ENCOURAGES  and ALLOWS club members to have FUN and enjoy themselves.

Dance, Gym and Games Club will meet every MONDAY at 11:55 – 12:30 pm in the GYM.      Activities will include: warm up and stretching, creative dance, basic gymnastics and low organized games that incorporate running, movement, cooperation, fitness and FUN.  Attendance will be taken before each session.

I, as parent/guardian, understand that by permitting my child to participate in this club, I have waived all claims against the organizers and the Halifax Regional School Board and its employees for injury, accident or illness occurring during or by reason of participation in this activity.
