Homework Policy

Ø      Weekly homework assigned Friday to be collected Thursday

Ø      Will be posted on class website

Ø      “Problem of the week” (math) and “Paragraph of the week” to be alternated each week

Ø      Nightly reading 20-30 minutes should be recorded on reading Bookmark.

Ø      Spelling

Ø      Any other assignments that should arise with individual subjects

Ø      Students can occasionally earn homework passes in class which they can hand in with their homework in exchange for one of their assignments.

Ø      Nightly homework is not to exceed 45 minutes and is not meant to be stressful. If there is ever a problem with the homework, please let me know so that I can address it as soon as possible.

*  If for some reason, homework cannot be completed on time, please send a note with your child and an extension can be given.

This Week's Homework

Week of: June 4th-June 10th (due Thursday)  

1. Nightly Reading- Read 20-30 minutes per night. Your May bookmark is now due. There will be no bookmark for June.
2. D.A.R.E.- DARE reports are due by June 10^th. Please complete both rough copy and good copy at home. Remember your good copy must be typed and 1 page in length. If you require the use of a computer to type your report then you must have your rough copy to school earlier than June 10^th to allow time to type.

** Please see me during the week if you are having difficulty completing any part of your homework.

Reminders:

• June book orders are being sent home today. Orders will be due by June 11^th.
• The Spring Fling is this Saturday, June 5^th. Have fun!
• Aristocats performances are next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
