            The countdown is on! What a busy month... Between Christmas concerts, field trips to the food bank and pool, and making gingerbread houses, I sure hope we have time to get all of our work done before the break!! Wishing you all a happy and safe holiday season. See you in January!

         October

        We're all settled in and we have another busy month in store! This month the grade 6's will write an assessment during the week of the 6th-9th. We also have our pictures this month so get your smiles ready:) The students have been working hard to complete their "I am Special" projects which will be due on Oct. 22nd. To top it all off, we end the month with a day of Halloween celebrations. Looking forward to seeing all of the costumes on the 30th... Happy Halloween!

        Welcome back to school! It is a busy time of year as we are all getting settled into our new classroom. This month we will be spending some time getting to know ourselves and each other.  We have many things to look forward to this month... the ice cream social, the Terry Fox Run, the book fair and lots of learning:) Our grade 6 Leadership team has been chosen. Thanks to all who applied. Looks like we will have an excellent group of leaders this year! Looking forward to meeting many of you on curriculum night on September 24th.
