Every day students hold jobs in the classroom community. Each job is a paid position, and students receive pay cheques that can be cashed in for Caseley Cash (our classroom money) at the Bank of Caseley Cash every Friday.  Below are descriptions of the jobs and the daily or weekly salaries for each position.

10 Caseley Cash/Week

The Calendar Updater puts the date on the class calendar each morning.

 10 Caseley Cash/Week

The distributors hand out all materials needed throughout the day.  They also collect scribblers and papers sometimes too!  They can be quite busy at homework time on Mondays when all the homework gets handed out at once.

20 Caseley Cash/Week

The class librarian puts away the books that were returned during S.U.R.F. time from the students who read with Mrs. Caseley.  They also keep the book baskets tidy.

5 Caseley Cash/Day

The jobs manager checks at the end of each day to make sure the O Canada Player, Calendar Updater, Class Librarian, and Distributors have completed their jobs.

15 Caseley Cash/Week

The Lieutenant makes sure students are following rules during indoor recess or when Mrs. Caseley is in the hall.

3 Caseley Cash/Day

The Banker cashes all students' cheques on Payday, stamping the checks with PAID.  He or she also received DEBITS notices and collects monies that need to be paid from each student.

25 Caseley Cash/Week

The Store Keeper works at the class store.  He or she takes Caseley Cash and makes change for student shoppers.
