All band students are expected to attend all of their sectionals throughout the term. This gives the students an opportunity to work with the conductor on difficult sections of their pieces with just their instruments present. Much more individual attention is given where needed. Attendance is taken. If  a student has another commitment at that same time, they are to speak to Mrs. Arnold in person.

Please note that the full band rehearsals from Feb. 1st to April 11^th are mandatory for all students going on the Cape Breton Trip. If anyone misses more than 1 rehearsal without a legitimate excuse (such as absent from school) then they are off the trip. Homework lunch and detentions do not count as legitimate excuses.
