Drama 12 Portfolio Prompts (last updated on September 14, 2010)

The following are journal prompts to help you document your experience in Drama 12. Although some of these journals will be assigned as part of your performance assignments, other prompts will come from discussions, activities or experiences that take place inside and outside of class.

Remember that you are expected to submit a sample of your writing / collecting every two weeks and a formal submission of your portfolio will take place a number of times during the semester.

William Hall play

1.        Reflect on the William Hall play presented by Anthony Sherwood. What worked in the production? What did not? What were some of the challenges in mounting this production? What were the logistics involved in putting on a production of this sort?

1.        Of what importance is a program like True Colors to the Drama 12 class? How do you think it may help in our goal to operate as a theatre company? What did you learn about yourself from this? What did you learn about others in the company?
