Library Rules

 
L- Listen and treat people with respect
I-  In the library we use our quiet voices and whisper
B- Be gentle to our books
R- Return or renew your books on time
A- Always tell us if a book needs repairs
R- Reference books stay in the library
Y- Yes, ask if you need help
 
R- Reshelf books only if you know where they go, if not place the book on the shelving cart
U- Use bookmarks, don't fold down the corners
L-  Leave the library neat and tidy
E-  Exit the library quietly
S-  Share a book or a good story with a friend

                                          

 

 
                         Mrs. Gaudet’s Rules for

       "The Care and Keeping of Your Library Book "

 

1. Your hands should be clean before handling books and other library      materials

                                                

2. Find a safe place at home to keep your library book when you are not using it

                                                                        

3. Do not read you library book while eating or drinking, either at home or in the library- food brings mice

                                                   

4. If you see a ripped or damaged book please let Mrs. Gaudet know

                                                                         

5. Never fold over the pages of books- use a piece of paper or ask for a bookmark

                                                                         

6. We never write in library books- ask for a piece of paper or photocopy the information

 

7. Return your library book on time, there may be others waiting for that book

                                                   

8. Bring your library book home and back to school in a plastic bag if it is raining or the weather is bad
