RESEARCH and WRITING TOOLS
Research and writing good reports, papers or labs is HARD WORK. There are no easy short cuts. Copying and pasting is plagiarism , which is passing someone else's work off as your own. It is immoral, illegal and, if caught, will earn you a ZERO, suspension or both.
Another link to plagiarism. PLAGIARISM PREVENTION (This is not new; may be useful and may be copied)
There is an excellent treatment of plagiarism in Chapter 2 of the new 7th edition of MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, 2009/10. The book is available now in the Library as a Reference book. It may be used only in the Library and can't be borrowed. However, I have printed off my one legal copy of the chapter and have made it available for borrowing only, as a Teacher's Resource.
Note: Copying the document in whole or in part is strictly prohibitive.
