This is a lyric poem about a girl who is wondering why and trying to find answers to why her boyfriend broke up with her.  The tone in this poem is very serious because she is really confused about her whole relationship with this boy.
    The speaker in this poem is a girl who is probably just a younger teenager.  We know this because it says "Boy I'm in a daze" (Line 18).  She is speaking to her ex-boyfriend and trying to find answers to what she is so confused about.  Also I would say that this was her first love because she is so upset and still trying to find herself.  We know this because she is so insecure and is blaming herself but doesn't know why.
    The title of this poem is significant because she thinks she is never going to get the answers to the questions that she wants the answers to.
    The theme of this poem could be, "even the best of things end".  From the lyrics in this poem you get the feeling that she did not want to break up with her boyfriend and that she thought the relationship was great.  He must have thought differently though.  He broke up with her. So what she thought was so great he thought had to end.
   I really think this poem is great.  It has the feeling that it is her first love and when you lose that first love you really so question yourself like that.  This poem seems very real. it deals with things that real people deal with, not a dream or fantasy.

*Personification - She is sayting that her conscious is asking questions.  A conscious is not a real thing, it is something that people believe in, therefore it cannot talk to ask the questions.

**Overstatement - In this line she is saying that she is so low and depresed that she is in a black hole.  That is an overstatement because she is not really in a blackhole the writer just uses it for effect.
