Choose One of the Matrix Boxes and
Logically Organize the Details
Now you need to organize the details in your matrix boxes. First, you need to examine each matrix box to get rid of any information that is the same. You might also need to move a piece of information into a more appropriate matrix box. After you do this, put the remaining information into an order that seems logical. You are now ready to begin drafting the separate paragraphs that will make up the body of your research project. You have just completed the Prewriting steps of your project. These can take a considerable amount of time, but you will end up with a great project if you follow all of them.
