Quotes Assignment

Your assignment is in four parts. Please complete all parts!

Name: quotes.doc

Where to save: Tech Ed. Folder

Time limit: 40 min (no more than 25 min searching for quotes)

Directions:

1. Surf the internet for two famous quotes that are meaningful to you.

2. Copy and paste them into Microsoft Word (including the name of whoever said it)

3. Below, write a 50 word response about both of the quotes that you picked (or 25 words each).

4. Save it in your Tech Ed folder

Important things to keep in mind:

• They can be quotes from famous people, or from not-so-famous people. They cannot, however, be a quote from a friend or family member.

• Try not to use lines from music. If you do, please use music for only one of the two quotes

• You can search for quotes in Google by typing in "famous quotes" (tip: use the quotation marks to narrow down your search)

• Make sure the quote is meaningful to you

• In your write-up tell me why they are important/meaningful to you, what you know about the source (who the person was who said it, why you picked it, how it represents you, etc)
