You can choose to do a number of projects using Comic Life...it will be your choice. Here are a few examples of projects you can do....

You don't have to choose one of these...if you would like to do something different...let me know what you'd like to do.

Your project must contain at least four pictures per page (change some picture styles), have different types of font (change font style and color), have a background, have text bubbles/boxes (change bubbles color), be at least two pages long.

1. Recount a historical event

2. Create a "How To" Tutorial

3. Create an Autobiographical Poem **You may use a school camera if you'd like!

Begin with the following writing activity in a Microsoft Word Document:

[First name]
[Four adjectives]
[Brother/Sister of ] (if you are an only child [son or daughter of]
Lover of [three things that the person loves]
Who feels [three feelings and when or where the person feels them]
Who gives [three things the person gives]
Who fears [three fears the person has]
Who would like to see [three things the person would like to see]
Who lives [a brief description of where the person lives]
[Last name]

  1. After the poems have been completed, select elements to include in a Comic Life biography.
  2. Be sure to have a digital picture taken of you with a camera from class or bring one in. Make the images available through e-mail, a flash drive, a CD.
  3. Using the Internet and a favourite image-search engine ie. Google, search for copyright-free images to illustrate the elements you have chosen.  Download full-sized images (not thumbnails) to your picture or tech ed. folder.
  4. Open Comic Life and create a title for the project.
  5.  Use the Explorer button in Comic Life to navigate to folder on the desktop and arrange the pictures. Next, use the Caption feature to add text, and, if desired, speech bubbles.
  6. Save your file as COMIC in your tech ed. folder.

4. Do a report of some sort...
