Getting Organized...

The first task you will complete is to create an "Tech Ed" folder in your H:/ drive.

Follow the steps to create your folder

  1. To access your "Personal Server Space", where you will save and store your work, click on the "My Computer" icon on the desktop. (The desktop is the main screen that you see when you log into your computer)

  2. Double click on your H:/ drive - the name next to it should be the same as your login name

  1. Click on "file" (up top) and then on "new" then on "folder"

  1. Name the folder "Tech Ed"

  2. Save all of your work that we do into this folder.

  3. Once you have created a Tech Ed folder, you will now do the same thing for each of your other classes. Create folders for:

***It is very important that you save the files in the correct folder and under the correct name - I will not go looking for your files if they are not there, so failure to put your work in the right place could result in no mark for an assignment***
