The focus of this unit is on the fundamentals of life; that is, the properties that are common in all living things. To understand life in a useful and meaningful way, you have to understand the cell. This site is made to supplement some of the information in the textbook and to encourage students to search through other resources while learning the importance of both plant and animal cells.
