Check off each requirement after you’ve completed it.

Requirements

Part 1: Research

Choose an artist whose life and work you would like to research.  Find at least two different books or articles on your artist.  At least 1 reference should come from a book.

Review the graphic organizers before you start reading.  As you read, fill out the organizers to help you plan and complete your project.

  2. On an index card, write a paragraph describing why this work was significant, what medium the artist used to create it and when it was completed.  Place this index card underneath the reproduction

  2. Place this letter underneath the title on the centre panel.

  2. Create the heading “A Picture’s worth a Thousand Words” and place this heading and their responses underneath the letter to the artist.
