Egypt - a fascinating and exciting country where traditional ways of life still exist in the countryside close by the modern cities. Let's take a virtual trip to learn about Life In Egypt - Then and Now.
The Task
Visit the pages and links found here and you will learn about how modern and traditional ways of life still can be found in Egypt today. In addition you will learn about Ancient Egypt, pyramids, mummies and Egyptian Gods and Goddesses. The more activities you complete the more you will learn and the more fun you will have.
Get ready to travel to Egypt! Pack your bag, rent a camel and have a great time.
1. Find out about the country of Egypt. There is lots to learn about modern Egypt.
2. Write like an Ancient Egyptian.
3. Learn about Pyramids. What were they? Why were they built? What was in them?
4. What were Mummies? How were they made? Why?
5. Life in Ancient Egypt.
To show what you have learned about Egypt you will need to present you findings , in a scrapbook or folder. Be sure you include pictures and paragraphs about each of the topics above.
