Hello! My name is Davilyn. I am a teacher in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada employed by the Halifax Regional School Board.  Since earning a B.A. and B.Ed. from St. Mary's University in Halifax in 1976 I have been teaching at the elementary level.  Most of my career has been spent teaching Grade Four, a level I still enjoy.

This website came about as a result of a project for the Introduction to Web Publishing course through USQ Online.  I hope to complete enough online courses to earn a Master of Educational Technology degree.

When not teaching I enjoy relaxing at home and painting to create original works of art.  I am a member of a co-op art gallery called Fisherman's Cove Gallery, located in picturesque Fisherman's Cove which is near my home. 

I have one beautiful daughter who is currently studying toward a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Science and Technology at Dalhousie University.
