Quatrain poems

Quatrain poems are any four-line stanza with a rhyming pattern. That leaves lots of room for variety. See below.

Music is really active

It's always a lot of fun

There is no need to run off

I'm always up for a dance.

(by Sam)

Snowy, white, gray, cold

Chilly, frigid, freezing, bright

These words describe winter

When there's snow in winter, it's very nice

(by Natalia)

Cold, damp, chilly, freezing

Hazy, sunny, warmish, hot

That is Canada

I'm sure that is

(by Nabil)

Funny, friendly, skateboarder, likeable

Muscular, strong, cool, kind...

These words describe David

He has a very smart mind

(by Tyler)
