locate the following items and place them in your Word document. Save this to
your workspace before the end of class. Site the websites used for each piece
of information required. (i.e. footnotes with the websites):
- A map of North America in the
19th century pre-confederation.
- A regional map of the
Canadian-American frontier in Eastern North America
- A map showing the migratory
patterns of African-American migration to Canada
- An image associated with the
return voyage to Sierra Leone at the turn of the 19th century
- A timeline of 19th
century North American events. (It may be useful to compare it to the one
you created yourself.
- An extract (written
information) related to the exodus of people to Sierra Leone from North
America.
- A short description of First
Nations involvement in the American revolution.
- A copy of the BNA and the
different responsibilities designated for provinces and the federal
government.
- A map of Canada 1867.
- A map of Canada at the turn of
the 20th century.
- A brief description of the
three most influential Canadians in the 19th century. (You
decide. Be sure to explain why you selected these people)
