Homework

Homework is sent home on Monday and is due back in school on Friday. Children may pass it in earlier than Friday if they wish. Homework usually consists of spelling words to study, activity sheets using the spelling words, Problem of the Week , review of addition and subtraction facts to 18, and a minimum of 15 minutes of reading each night. From time to time the children may have unfinished work from class to complete and this may come home for homework. Periodically , there will be projects assigned. The children will be given advance notice with a specific due date assigned. Please review your child's homework to ensure it is completed neatly and accurately. Please be sure to sign your child's agenda each night. On Friday the weekly spelling test is sent home to be signed. Please return it on Monday morning

When completing the spelling activities, the children should be sure to put the letter and title of the activity at the top of the sheet, as well as the amount of points. For example; 'D. Help From Home  5 Pts.' Please remind your child that they need to complete 20 points worth of activities each week. Thank -you!
