Visual Arts & Design
In my Visual Arts and Design Technology classes you will participate in a structured program intended to challenge you to think critically about art and design. You will develop the technical aspects of art making as well as your curiosity and appreciation of the visual world.
As you progress through the visual arts program you will participate in more specialized independent study and exploration. The goal is to learn to appreciate the work of others while creating truly original and expressive pieces of visual art.

In my class:
You’ll learn to work with a variety of materials and to express abstract concepts through your art.
You’ll keep a sketchbook demonstrating your growth through the program and a digital portfolio to show off your best pieces.
You will learn to appreciate that art and design can change our world and that originality is so much better than being a sheep.
I will try to challenge and support you and introduce you to as many new art and design ideas as possible.
