ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA –Quebec City Trip 2012

 

1.      Students must maintain acceptable school attendance and satisfactory academic standing.  If a student is encountering serious attendance and or academic difficulties, administration may choose NOT TO GIVE PERMISSION  for the student to sign up for the trip and or remove that student from the school trip should there be serious academic concerns.

 

2.      Students must be in good standing with the school staff throughout the school year.  Students whose conduct proves to be unacceptable will not be permitted to sign up and may be removed from the school trip.

 

3.      Students must participate in fundraising events and attend all meetings.

 

4.      All cheques should be made payable to  Saint Agnes Junior High – Grade 9 Trip.  Registration forms and cheques must be received on or before the specified dates (NO post-dated cheques past the specified dates).  Receipts will always be issued.

 

5.      Fundraising monies belong to the Grade 9 trip group, and will be applied to the student’s individual account.  Students do not receive their profits personally; monies are issued after all fundraising activity ends.  Refund cheques will be issued to parents / guardians if the student is entitled to a refund.

 

6.      Students who withdraw, or are removed, from the trip do not receive any fundraising money they earned.  It is placed in the general fund to be used by the school group.

 

7.      Students who withdraw or are removed from the trip are also subject to other financial penalties imposed by the terms of the contract.  (No school refunds after the November 21st deposit).

 

8.      This is a school trip; therefore all school rules will apply to students at all times.  Please refer to the student agenda if necessary.

 

9.      Students who fail to follow these rules may be sent home (by air) at the parent’s / guardian’s expense.
