Word problem-solving strategies- read the question twice, circle any data, underline key words, draw a picture to help you, write a number sentence, write a complete sentence with the answer.
Les sciences: Sound and Sound Technologies
Les sciences humaines: -Population trends across Canada, why people live where they live
-Government: organization, role of provincial and federal, how a law is adopted
-Symbols of Canada (cultural, political, it's people)
Le francais:
Grammaire: les homophones, le féminin, le masculin, le pluriel
Les verbes - Aller et faire au passe compose et l'imparfait
Proper expressions using these verbs aller, etre, avoir and faire
Reading strategies- inferring (reading between the lines), reading non-fiction, strategies when you come to a word you don't know
Process of writing - Revising and editing on our own, switching with a partner as another set of eyes
Writing complete sentences, using commas, what is a run-on sentences and varying sentences in length
Writing a children's book using the sounds <<aille, ouille, ille, eil>>-
Writing a set of directions
