Our month program is packed full of exciting and interesting learning activities.

Math:
Mental Math -Adding and subtracting decimals with and without regrouping
Estimating sums and differences with decimal numbers
Multiplication (next week) - Please expect a letter to go home
We will be working on the facts to 10 X 10. We will begin to multiply two digit numbers, by 10 and 100 and three factors. It is beneficial to start or continue to practice the multiplication facts at home.
Word problem-solving strategies- read the question twice, circle any data, underline key words, draw a picture to help you, write a number sentence, write a complete sentence with the answer.
