I.W.A. (Independent Work Activity)

Congratulations to the first student to complete their IWA. A fine job! I have had some questions about what was expected for these activities. The first project was a good example of what I expected. The student did a model of a volcano, and a poster with information about volcanoes. He demonstrated the model, and presented his information. He then answered questions on the topic of volcanoes. I encourage originality and creativity, but if you are unsure of what your child should be doing, have them discuss the projects already completed. I also encourage students to come and discuss their ideas and topics with me. I will guide them in appropriate directions.

As projects are done, I will post the topics here so that new and original ideas can be used. I have also put the marking rubrics here so you can see what is expected.
