Spelling – Compound Words
Use each of these words to make a compound word. We will be making a “Class” list, so try to think of words that your classmates (Hey that is a compound word) don’t think of.

Most compound words are made by just putting two words together without any change, but some words made by combining with all are different, because one l is dropped.

Some compound words do not look like they are spelled right because there are two letters together that you would not normally use together. The letters hh and kk for example only appear in compound words. |
